Innovation, Education and the New Era of Getremed
Getremed's participation in the 23rd Panhellenic ENT Conference was completed with great success, in an event that stood out for its high scientific level and the large participation of the medical community.
The conference brought together a large number of ENT doctors from all over Greece, while the conference venue proved to be ideal for the demands of such an important scientific event. At the same time, the exhibition area hosted many companies in the sector, creating a dynamic environment for information and professional networking.
The Getremed booth, which was the largest at the exhibition, attracted a significant number of visitors. The design of the space allowed for the creation of thematic presentation stations, giving delegates the opportunity to learn in detail about the technologies and solutions that the company offers for the modern ENT practice and surgery.
Presentation of New Corporate Identity
The conference was the ideal opportunity for the official launch of Getremed's new corporate identity.
The new corporate identity reflects the company's continuous evolution and its commitment to technological innovation and the provision of high-quality solutions to the medical community. The response from visitors was particularly positive, confirming that the new image dynamically expresses the philosophy and vision of Getremed.
The Modern ENT Clinic
The ENT Clinic station had a particular impact, where new technological solutions and collaborations for the equipment of the examination room were presented.
Among these, the new video endoscopic systems from Besdata stood out, which offer high image quality, reliability and particularly low and affordable prices.
Management of Snoring and Sleep Apnea
After Ms. Florou's clinical tutorial, several doctors visited the Getremed booth to learn about modern solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing.
Among others, the following were presented:
- the multi-body recording system Sleep & Go
- CPAP therapy devices
- specialized solutions for the comprehensive management of sleep apnea
Endoscopic Rhinoplasty – FESS
The FESS station also attracted great interest, especially after Mr. Georgalas' live surgical broadcast, during which the Propel cortisone nasal stent was used.
Propel is an innovative solution that locally releases cortisone after endoscopic sinus surgery, helping to reduce inflammation and maintain sinus patency during the postoperative period.
PROPEL functions simultaneously as a stent, preventing tissues from closing or sticking together during healing, and as a cortisone release system, gradually releasing mometasone furoate directly into the mucosa for approximately 30 days, drastically reducing inflammation and swelling. No removal is required, the implant breaks down and is absorbed by the body on its own, usually within 30 to 45 days.
Clinically Proven Results
Σύμφωνα με κλινικές μελέτες, η χρήση του PROPEL προσφέρει:
- Reduction of adhesions by 70%: Prevents the formation of tissue that can block the sinuses again.
- Reduction in the need for reoperation: Significantly reduces the likelihood that the patient will need new surgery in the future.
- Reduction of nasal polyps by 46%: Particularly important for patients with chronic nasal polyposis.
Pharmacy Line
Particular emphasis was placed on the No. 1 nasal wash product, Sinus Rinse, which is available in different packages, covering the needs of each age group: infants, children and adults.
Subsequently, the new dietary supplement Vertistop Fast, which helps treat vertigo, was presented for the first time at Pharmacy Line stations.
A large number of samples were distributed during the conference, along with products from the NeilMed, Gelorevoice and Gelositin series.
