The Voice Surgery Masterclass 2026 was successfully held, under the auspices of GETREMED, and the scientific guidance of Mr. K. LAMPROPOULOU, ENT Surgeon, Phoniatrician, presenting his many years of experience in modern techniques in voice surgery.
The speeches of Mr. Artopoulos, Otolaryngologist Surgeon, regarding combined Endo-Microlaryngoscopy, as well as the speech of Ms. LADA, Speech Therapist, Speech Therapist, regarding functional phonation-swallowing disorders and the contribution of the IOPI orofacial strengthening device, were of great interest.
The Masterclass brought together a large number of Otolaryngologists, specialists and residents, speech therapists and voice professionals, confirming its educational and scientific character in the field of modern voice surgery.
GETREMED's contribution to the Masterclass was educational and informative, through the theoretical and practical part, but also through the provision of a detailed informative catalog of technological solutions related to laryngeal surgery and voice surgery, which is listed below.
The second day of the masterclass, which took place at the GETREMED LAB facilities under the scientific guidance of Mr. Lampropoulos and the contribution of the excellent trainers: Ms. A. Liapi, Mr. M. Artopoulos and Mr. Ch. Vontetsianos at the workstations, was a great success.
Participants practiced sequentially at 3 workstations:
1. Familiarization with microlaryngoscopy equipment on a model.
2. Microlaryngoscopy vs Endolaryngposcopy, Use of radiofrequency RF varices, posterior chordectomy, chordectomy.
3. Use of CO2 laser posterior chordectomy, chordectomy and use of Blue laser on varicose veins.
The presented solutions cover all modern surgical approaches, including the microscopic approach, endolaryngoscopy and combined techniques using surgical instruments, special 4MHz Arrowtip radiofrequency electrodes, CO2 and Blue laser, in accordance with international standards of precision, safety and ergonomics.
Through this scientific material, the role of technology in supporting education and clinical practice was highlighted, with an emphasis on advanced imaging systems, laser technology, robotic support and specialized implantable materials for the functional restoration of the vocal cords.
