1. GETREMED POLICY FOR ADDRESSING VIOLENCE AND HARASSMENT ISSUES

Intro

At GETREMED, no form of direct or indirect discrimination, victimization, intimidation or sexual harassment is tolerated and the principle of equal treatment is ensured. The company's policy for addressing the above issues aims to develop a working environment that respects, promotes and ensures the right of every person to a world of work free from violence and harassment. Forms of violent and harassing behaviour can take place in the workplace, including public and private spaces and places where the employee provides work, receives remuneration, takes breaks, in particular, for rest or for meals, in areas of personal hygiene and care, changing rooms or accommodation and during their journeys to and from work, other journeys, travel, training, as well as work-related events and social activities and work-related communications, including those carried out through information and communication technologies.

The purpose of this policy of our company is to promote the development of a working environment regardless of the contractual status of employees (including those employed under a contract of employment, independent services, salaried mandate, interns and apprentices) in which harassment and intimidation are prohibited and where employees will have the certainty that their problem will be addressed with discrimination and responsibility by the company.

1.1 GETREMED strategic framework for the prevention and response to violence and harassment

It is a primary duty and obligation of GETREMED:

a) To receive, investigate and manage any complaint or relevant report, demonstrating zero tolerance for violence and harassment, with confidentiality and in a manner that respects human dignity and not to obstruct the receipt, investigation and management of such complaints or reports,

b) to provide assistance and access to any competent public, administrative or judicial authority, during the investigation of such an incident or conduct, if requested by the company,

c) provide employees with information regarding the potential risks of violence and harassment in the workplace and the relevant prevention and protection measures,

including the obligations and rights of employees and the employer in such incidents,

d) inform its employees about the procedures in place at company level for reporting and dealing with such forms of behavior, as well as the contact details for the competent, in accordance with the applicable provisions, administrative and judicial authorities.

2. INTERNAL RULES OF PROCEDURE

2.1 Conceptual approach

All forms of violence and harassment, occurring during work, related to it or arising from it, including gender-based violence and harassment and sexual harassment, are prohibited.

Ως «βία και παρενόχληση» νοούνται οι μορφές συμπεριφοράς, πράξεις, πρακτικές ή απειλές αυτών, που αποσκοπούν, οδηγούν ή ενδέχεται να οδηγήσουν σε σωματική, ψυχολογική, σεξουαλική ή οικονομική βλάβη, είτε εκδηλώνονται μεμονωμένα είτε κατ' επανάληψη.

"Harassment" means forms of behavior that have the purpose or effect of violating the dignity of the person and creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment, regardless of whether they constitute a form of discrimination, and includes harassment based on gender or other grounds of discrimination.

"Gender-based harassment" means forms of behavior related to a person's gender, sexual orientation, which have the purpose or effect of violating the dignity of that person and creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.

2.2 Right to file a complaint

GETREMED, after informing its employees, adopts the policy for the management of internal complaints, which includes:

a) secure and easily accessible communication channels for receiving complaints, as well as the identification of the responsible persons within the company for receiving and examining complaints and informing complainants,

b) investigating and examining complaints with impartiality and protecting the confidentiality and personal data of victims and complainants,

c) the prohibition of retaliation and further victimization of the affected person,

d) the description of the consequences of detecting violations,

e) cooperation and provision of any relevant information to the competent authorities, if requested.

2.3 Submit a complaint

When an employee or other person employed by the company GETREMED violates the prohibition of violence and harassment of article 4 of Law 4808/2021, then GETREMED is obliged to take the necessary appropriate and appropriate measures, as the case may be, against the person complained of, in order to prevent and prevent a similar incident or behavior from recurring.

These measures include recommending compliance, changing the position, hours, place or method of providing work and terminating the employment or collaboration relationship, without prejudice to the prohibition of abuse of rights under Article 281 of the Civil Code.

In the event that an incident of violence and harassment occurs against an employee, he has the right to leave the workplace for a reasonable time, without loss of salary or other adverse consequences, if, in his reasonable belief, there is an imminent serious risk to his life, health or safety.

Complaints can always be withdrawn at any time or mediation and compromise can take place through discussion (invitation and hearing of two parties) and the incident can end at the same time.
