NasaFlo Netipot nasal irrigation system
The NeilMed Nasaflo Netipot is an ideal system for complete nasal irrigation in an effective way. It provides a large volume of liquid solution which upon application enters the nasal cavity, without pressure but with a free flow.
The solution, when applied, exits the other nostril without swallowing the solution and nasal secretions.

Instructions:
Step 1: Wash your hands and rinse the device. Fill the NASAFLO® system with 240 mL (8 fl oz) of lukewarm, distilled or filtered water, or water that has been boiled and cooled. Nasal irrigation should only be performed with NeilMed® SINUS RINSE™ sachets. The sachets contain a mixture of sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate intended for pharmaceutical use. These ingredients are considered the purest for creating a dry powder mixture. Rinsing the nasal cavities with water alone without this mixture will cause a severe burning sensation, as water is not a normal saline solution for nasal irrigation, although it is suitable for drinking. Additionally, for your safety, do not use tap water to dissolve the mixture unless it has been boiled for 5 minutes or more, as water is sterilized by boiling. Other options include sterile, filtered (0.2 micron filter), bottled water, or as mentioned above, water that has been previously boiled and is lukewarm or at body temperature. You can store boiled water in a clean container for seven days or longer if stored in the refrigerator. Do not use non-chlorinated or non-ultrafiltered (0.2 micron) water unless it has been boiled and then cooled to lukewarm or at body temperature. You can heat the water in a microwave, however, it is recommended that heating be done gradually over a period of 5-10 seconds to avoid overheating, which will damage the device or burn the nasal cavities.
Step 2: Cut the SINUS RINSE™ sachet at the edge and empty the contents into the container. Close the lid tightly onto the device. Place your finger over the hole in the lid and gently shake the device to dissolve the mixture.
Step 3: Stand in front of the sink, lean forward as far as is comfortable and tilt your head to the left. With your mouth open and without holding your breath, place the nozzle fully into your right nostril and LET THE SOLUTION SLOWLY FLOW until the solution begins to flow out of the opposite nostril. Use approximately half of the solution in the NASAFLO® (120 mL / 4 fl oz). The solution should not enter your mouth unless you tilt your head back. To adjust or stop the flow, you can place your finger over the hole in the cap, and depending on how close you close it, you will be able to control the flow.
Step 4: To avoid putting pressure on the eardrum, blow your nose gently, without squeezing it completely. If tolerated, inhale any remaining solution in the nasal cavity once or twice, as this will clear the posterior nasopharyngeal area, which is at the back of the nasal cavity. Occasionally, some solution may enter your throat. If this happens, spit it out. To drain any remaining solution, blow your nose gently while tilting your head forward and to the right. (This helps clear the left maxillary sinus).
Step 5: Now repeat steps 3 & 4 for the opposite or left nasal cavity, tilting your head to the right during the wash and to the left to clean the maxillary sinus. If there is any solution residue, discard it. It is recommended to prepare fresh solution each time you perform nasal washes. Perform nasal washes once or twice a day OR as directed by your doctor.
Recommended dose:
Adults: 1 sachet in 240 mL of water for nasal irrigation, 1-6 times a day
