Fill the clear blue container with 240 mL (8 fl oz) of lukewarm, distilled, microfiltered (0.2 micron) water, or water that has been previously boiled and cooled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Step <\/strong>2<strong>: <\/strong>Cut the corner of the <strong>SINUS RINSE\u2122<\/strong> mixture sachet and add the contents to the blue container of the <strong>Sinugator\u2122<\/strong>. Place the motorized mechanism over the blue container and tighten until it locks in place. Shake the unit to dissolve the mixture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Step <\/strong>3<strong>: <\/strong>In front of a sink, lean forward in a comfortable position and tilt your head down. With your mouth open, without holding your breath, insert the tip fully into your nasal cavity. Press the blue activation button until the solution begins to come out of the OTHER nasal cavity. Depending on the position of your head, residual solution may come out of your mouth. It is recommended that you spit out any remaining solution. In case of accidental ingestion, there is no risk. For proper flushing, continue to press the activation button until at least 1\/4 to 1\/2 (60 mL to 120 mL or 2 to 4 fl oz) of the mixture has been used. Stop pressing the activation button if you feel any discomfort, pain, or pressure during the flush.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Step <\/strong>4<strong>: <\/strong>Blow your nose gently, without pressing it all the way down, to avoid putting pressure on your eardrums. If tolerated, <strong>SNORT<\/strong> any solution in your nasal cavity gently through your nose once or twice, as this can help clear the posterior nasopharyngeal area, the area at the back of your nasal cavity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Step <\/strong>5<strong>: <\/strong>Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other nasal cavity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Step <\/strong>6<strong>: <\/strong>Clean the <strong>Sinu<\/strong><strong>gator\u2122<\/strong> with clean running water, dry it with a clean, lint-free towel, and then leave it to air dry with the lid open. The nasal irrigation system tip, blue container, and white soft tube can be sanitized in a household microwave for 60 seconds. Clean the entire unit with a few drops of dishwashing liquid and water every three days to keep the unit clean.
